The combination of feedback control and continuous-flow operations in microreactors enables online and fully automated reaction optimization. A Heck reaction demonstrates the potential for rapid multivariable reaction optimization while requiring a minimal amount of material. Optimal conditions are quickly scaled-up by a factor of 50.
