Abstract:
Good to excellent yields of aryl trifluoromethyl sulfides, which are an important class of compounds in both the pharmaceutical and agrochemical areas, can be achieved under mild conditions by the Pd-catalyzed reaction of aryl bromides with a trifluoromethylthiolate nucleophile.
