Stephen L. Buchwald
Steve started his independent career in 1984 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been the Camille Dreyfus Professor of Chemistry at MIT since 1997.
He has been honored for numerous awards including the ACS Arthur C. Cope Award (2013), BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Basic Sciences (2014) and the Wolf Prize in Chemistry (2019).
Steve has mentored many postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, undergraduates and visiting students throughout the course of his career. He is the coauthor of over 550 published papers and holds 55 issued patents.
