Steve honored with 2014 BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Basic Sciences
The seventh annual BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Basic Sciences has has been awarded to Steve this year for his work on the development of catalytic methods for carbon-nitrogen and carbon-carbon bond formation.
Steve awarded Ulysses Medal at UCD Dublin
Steve has been awarded the Ulysses Medal from UCD Dublin in recognition of the research contributions made throughout his career, specifically for the development of new methods for the formation of C–C, C–N, and C–F bonds. These methods have had a significant impact on industrial chemical research, especially in the area of medcinal chemistry.
