Stephen L. Buchwald has been selected to receive the 2016 Wiliam H. Nichols Medal by the New York Seciton of the American Chemical Society for "landmark contributions in organometallic chemistry, ligand design, and catalysis." This prestigious award was first established in 1902 and awarded annually to encourage original research in chemistry. The Nichols Medal is the oldest award presented by a section of the ACS and will be awarded to Steve at a Symposium and Dinner in March 2016.
